The Street Source is owned by S&S Tire, Inc. For over 30 years, Central Kentucky has trusted S&S for tires and auto service with a hometown touch. In what is a remarkable success story for a Lexington-based organization, our parent company has grown in dramatic fashion. From a single retail tire store opened at Eastland Center in 1974, S&S Tire now employs several hundred people with retail stores and distribution centers across the Southeast.
Seeing that Lexington consumers had few options for accessory retailers, S&S Tire opened a retail store dedicated to custom wheels, mobile electronics, window tinting, and car and truck accessories in 1995. Originally opened on Winchester Road as Premier Accessories, we moved to our current location on East New Circle Road in 2001 and became The Street Source.
In the winter of 2007, our store was remodeled to include new accessory displays, a comprehensive wheel and tire lineup, and a new interactive mobile electronics showroom. We have expanded our product offering and added new staff members to help you! We look forward to providing Lexington with a professional alternative for custom wheels, window tinting, mobile electronics, and car and truck accessories.
